Tanveer Abdul Sattar arrested

Simi activist Tanveer Abdul Sattar Mulla was arrested yesterday with a CD containing bomb-making instructions, police said. Mulla had earlier been detained by the CoD in connection with the Hubli serial blasts, and released after questioning.

On Saturday, police arrested him again, and told reporters they had recovered CDs that contained, among other things, directions on how to prepare cylinder bombs.

They hope to get some leads from him in the Bangalore blasts case.

The arrest comes soon after the nabbing of Sameer Sadiq, Simi secretary, from his house in Gurappanapalya.
Police arrested Sadiq last week in connection with the Bangalore serial blasts that claimed a life 10 days ago.
Gujarat police had earlier arrested many of Sadiq's associates for their role in the Surat roits.
