TROUBLE SHOOTING: The VSNL technicians were the only people to work on Ken Haywood's (right) computer since last September |
But on one occasion, another engineer had looked at Haywood's computer. And Haywood never saw him after that.
So now, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) is questioning two more VSNL employees along with Bodkar.
"The VSNL technicians were the only people to work on my system from last September. With the exception of that one time two months ago, it was always the same technician (Bodkar) who helped me," said Haywood.
Lost connection
Bodkar was a regular visitor in the Haywood home after he kept losing the WiFi Internet connection on his computer. Bodkar told investigators that only the engineer could log on and give the password required for uninterrupted Internet connectivity.
Since the connection would get lost on a regular basis, Haywood said it was Bodkar's suggestion that the WiFi connection be kept unprotected. This helped the hackers send the threat e-mail before the Ahmedabad blasts using Haywood's WiFi connection.
ATS chief Hemant Karkare told MiD DAY, "We are questioning the engineer along with two other employees.
We are checking out on all those employees of the company who had visited Haywood for computer-related problems."
