Bangalore: State government will invest an additional fund of one thousand crore on Bangalore infrastructure.Transport minister R.Ashok after a meeting with chiefs of Local service providers, today, said that this will be in addition to the funds set aside in Budgget.
He spoke after a progress review meeting in BBMP head office. He has also set a deadline of six months to implement infrastructure projects announced by the state government. He announced that state government would also dig thousand more borewells as a response to prevailing water scarcity in city.
"The state government would invest another 1000 crores on Bangalore development. Major publice works will be takenup immediately. We have given six months deadline to implement important projects,"said R.Ashok.
