The Lokayukta officials raided the houses of five officers including three police officers and conficated illegal wealth worth Rs 9.8 crore  worth of property from them. Among the total  amount, the Lokayukta officials seized Rs 4.6 crore from a Sub Inspector attached to Central Crime Branch in Bangalore. Interestingly, the PSI V Nagesh , was trapped by Lokyayukta officials an year back while he was accepting Rs 10,000 as bribe from a brothel.

The Other tainted officials includes C Krishnappa, Assistant Commissioner of POlice ( Dharwad district) Rs 2. 5 crore , BT Chavan, DySp,  Dharward District Crime Record Bureau, Rs 42,19,978, Khaja Moinuddin, Regional Forest Officer, Chikmagalur, Rs 85,59,014 and G Tambath, Regional Transport Officer , Davanagere Rs 1, 37,40,000.

The Officials are further investigating to recover more ill gotten wealth from the tainted officials .
