Pune:

Mansoft executives cut the ribbon at its new resource centre in Pune
Mansoft, an IT solution subsidiary of Doha-based Mannai Corporation, is strengthening its base in India by opening a resource center in Pune. The firm is all set to associate itself with the Commonwealth Games taking place in Delhi in 2010 after providing successful IT solutions to the Doha Asian Games.

Mannai Corporation is one of Qatar's premier solution providers. "The sports event management and software solutions sector is worth above Rs 88 million and there is still room for growth," said Atul Pradhan, MD, Mansoft.

This is Mannai Corporation's second base in India, first being in Mumbai. Considering the IT solution opportunities at sports events like the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Delhi, the Pune team will contribute in a huge way by developing crucial result system and management solutions for the commercial section of various events.

Mansoft's Pune center has come up at S P Infocity, the specialised IT/ITES SEZ at Pursungi in Pune. "This center will house over 400 professionals and will start functioning in the next 12 months," said Pradhan at the opening ceremony of the new resource center.

The company's resource center in Mumbai is catering to industries like insurance, manufacturing, banking and services and the one in Pune is likely to do the same.
