SOMETIMES it is not just winning that matters. Adarsh English School (Prabhadevi) found a reason to cheer even after going down 1-5 against Dhirubhai Ambani International (Bandra) in the group stage of the Nike-MSSA U-16 Div IV inter-school football tournament at Azad Maidan yesterday.

First goal

Adarsh were contended after Rudraksh Surve scored the first-ever goal for them. "This is our second year in football, but we have never scored any goal earlier.

"This is also the golden jubilee year of our school, so it is more special," said Rudraksh.

"Though we lost, we are not sad. We are happy to put up a fight," he added
