JB Petit school's hard work pays off

JB Petit's round-the-year practice sessions paid off in style.

The Fort school defeated Little Angels (Sion) 2-0 in the group stages of the Nike-MSSA girl's U-16 inter-school football tournament at Azad Maidan yesterday.

"It is our first year so, we wanted to make sure we were fully prepared. Initially, we used to train only once a week.

"But soon we had practice everyday. There's been a lot of improvement since then," said coach Fenny Fernandes.
