Home is where the heart is. And for referee Michael Taiwo, home is Nigeria.

He wishes that he was in in Nigeria now, so that he could sit around the television set and watch his country strive for gold. Nigeria will play Argentina in the football final today.

The 20-year-old is in India as an overseas player for Mumbai Customs. He referees in school matches whenever he finds time.

"I wish all my friends were here so that we could all cheer for our team together. I'm feeling very sad that I can't be with them.  I'm very proud to  be  a Nigerian.  We have come so far and triumphed over everything to be in the final. I hope people all over the world acknowledge our team," said the 20-year-old.

"It's not going to be easy for us. Argentina is tough team but we know we can do it," he signed off
