Four people were injured in a freak accident last night when a vehicle carrying five teenagers rammed into a rickshaw at Kherwadi signal, Bandra.

The rickshaw driver and three passengers sustained minor injuries and were treated at Bhabha Hospital. The incident occurred shortly after midnight, when a group of five girls were on their way to Borivili after attending a birthday party at Lower Parel. Eyewitnesses claim that the driver of the vehicle jumped the signal and was at fault for the accident. The Kherwadi police arrested the driver of the car Shyam Pal.

The girls did not suffer any injuries and were later escorted by a relative in Bandra.
