2 recruits of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) were arrested by the army in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today, according to official sources.

Acting on a tip-off, troops of 10 Rashtriya Rifle launched a search and cordon operation in the Nalla area near Doda town and arrested two recruits of LeT outfit.

The arrested recruits have been identified as 18-year-old Khursheed Ahmed and 22-year-old Farooq Ahmed.

The duo has been sent to the Joint Interrogation Centre, said sources, adding they were recruited by LeT and given training.
