No arrests, no stopping. Hit George Bush right on his face as many times as you want
Here's your chance to hurl a shoe at US President George W Bush, just like the Iraqi journalist Muntadar al-Zaidi did on Monday during a press conference in Baghdad.
Not really, but virtually.
Soon after the incident, a game has been launched on http://www.kroma.no/2008/bushgame/ wherein the players need to aim at the outgoing US President with a shoe. Every right hit, increases the point count. Till the time of going to press, 14,76,956 shoes had already hit Bush, with hundreds more being added every minute.
Media professional Ashutosh Srivastava, who played the game said, "Hope the game developers come up with a game on Indian politicians especially Shivraj Patil. I would love hitting him." Another city resident Mannika Singh said, "Mast game hai. (It's an interesting game.) Hitting Bush is no less than an achievement. People in Iraq would love it."
While it isn't the best way to bid him farewell but one of the players tends to differ, saying, "The game is so cool. Instant gratification, I must say."
The anti-Bush feeling doesn't stop here. The message board of the portal is full of angry scribbles explaining why Bush remains the world's favourite punching bag. While one of the 1,000 posts reads, "Bush ki to dash main dash."; another says, "The pig deserves more." Some of the visitors have gone a step ahead and expressed their desire to throw grenades at him.
The incident is a massive hit even on YouTube as well, notching up more than six lakh hits within two days. Seems, we are not yet ready to forget the man.
