Three men pulled out guns from haversacks on November 26 at Cafe Leopold in Colaba and started firing indiscriminately. A hand grenade was also thrown. Ten people were killed here.
9.45 pm
After Leopold, the terrorists went to the Taj Mahal Hotel and started firing indiscriminately there too. The three men and another terrorist who laid siege at the hotel were Bada Abdul Rehaman, Abu Ali, Abu Soheb and Umar. The Taj operation was the longest and bloodiest of all the sites, which were attacked during the terror strike. Death toll: 32
9.50 pm
Around the same time when the Taj was under attack, Mohammed Ajmal Qasab and his associate Ismail Khan open fire at CST station. Their actions were captured on the CCTVs. He escaped with Ismail to the nearby Cama and Albless Hospital, then to Metro cinema hall, from there to Nariman Point. They were finally intercepted at Girgaum Chowpatty.

Two terrorists identified as Fahad Ullah and Abdul Rehaman Chhota open indiscriminate firing at Trident hotel. Death toll: 33
10.20 pm
A bomb went off in a taxi on the Western Express Highway at Vile Parle, killing the cabbie Mohammed Umar Abdul Khalid (35) on the spot.
