ANUSHKA Rodrigues (21), an HDFC customer, won’t be able to use her ATM-cum-debit card on January 25, as the bank’s system will be shut that day. Rodrigues, who often goes out for dinner, says the system’s closure will definitely hamper her plans.
The bank, which is expanding its system, has sent a mail to all users saying their ATM, phone banking, debit cards and purchase order facilities will be shut from 9.30 pm to midnight on Friday for upgradation.
The mail says, “In anticipation of this expansion, our systems will be undergoing a major upgradation. As a result of this, our channels and services will not be available briefly during the period of upgradation.” |
