KANPUR: Law caught up with law enforcers of the city where 30 policemen were fined for riding without helmets.
As part of a drive launched yesterday, the traffic police caught 650 people, including 30 policemen, for riding two-wheelers without helmets, SP (Traffic) Ram Lal Verma said.
The traffic police has imposed a fine of Rs 300 each on the defaulters, he said.
The drive was launched in the backdrop of number of deaths occurring due to head injuries sustained during mishaps.
