Actor Jackie Shroff seems keen to infuse Thoda Magic in his film career and personal life. According to sources, the actor has rented a new home in Bandra because the vaastu of his old home is not conducive to his personal and professional life.

The actor shifted two weeks ago to a duplex apartment at Pinnacle Elegance on 29th road in Bandra West. Film producer Vashu Bhagnani has built the building and Jackie pays a Rs 3 lakh rent per month for the 6,500 sq-ft apartment. B Kandhari's Properties, real estate consultants from Bandra, are believed to have mediated the deal.

The actor used to stay at Le Papillon near Mount Mary church earlier. Jackie sold his old house to an NRI family at a whopping price of Rs 10 crore a month ago.

Jackie confirmed the shift, but denied making it due to vaastu problems.

"My mother-in-law has come to stay with us and my old flat could not accommodate us all. So I had to move to this new apartment," said Jackie.

When asked why he has rented the apartment and not bought it instead, he said, "I have booked a pent house in south Mumbai but it is still under construction."

Jackie has been house hunting for the last few months.

A local broker, who does not wish to be named, said, "Jackie was looking for a new home as his professional life was going through a rocky phase. His friends were also helping him search a flat and some had approached me for the same. However, recently, I came to know that he has rented a duplex apartment on 29th road in Bandra."
