Parents of Mehnaz Khan (18) were today sentenced to life for murdering their daughter and chopping her body into several pieces.


The Sessions Court here sentenced Mohammad Munna Sardar Khan and his wife Shehnaz Khan for killing Mehnaz in July 2006, after she eloped and married a Hindu boy.


The couple had strangulated their daughter at their Cuffe Parade slum in South Mumbai.


They later cut her into 11 pieces, stored them in a gunny bag and disposed it off near a sewage line.
