Mumbai: Mumbai's Aditya Mehta will become only the fourth cueist - after veterans like Geet Sethi, Yasin Merchant and Om Agarwal - to figure in the Main Tour of the Snooker Professional Circuit to played in England next month.

Mehta, a silver medallist

at this year's Asian Snooker Championship in Dubai, and a bronze medallist at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, is naturally upbeat at the prospect of sharing the green table with the world's best.

"It's a dream and I intend to work with the same commitment that has got me this far and make a name for my country," he said.
