Delhi: The Delhi police have recovered a body of a 18-year-old girl hanging at the Jheel park in Rohini sector-3 on Wednesday morning.

Guard of the park had informed the police. "When came on duty at 9 am, some people told me about the girl, who was naked. I immediately called up the police," said D L Sharma, guard of the park.

" The matter seems to be of rape-cum-murder," said police sources. However, senior police officials claim it was a case of suicide. "No external injury was found on the body.
 
We are finding out the details of the recent missing girls of the area to identify the victim," said a senior police official.

The body was sent to Sanjay Gandhi hospital for post mortem.

The police is questioning some of the workers living in the park. "We had come here from Jhansi yesterday only to carry out some repair work.  On Tuesday, we slept early after having our supper," a worker said.
