Toll staffers smash bus for entering wrong lane

Smashed: A private bus damaged by Gurgaon toll plaza staffers

A private bus carrying passengers was damaged by the employees of Gurgaon toll plaza on Wednesday for entering wrong lane.

The incident took place at around 9 am when the bus was about to cross the toll plaza to enter Gurgaon.

Rebellious staffers

An eyewitness, told MiD DAY, "The bus entered 'no entry' zone. The toll staff asked the driver to go to the other lane. However, on the other lane he was again directed to go to another lane.

The rebellious staffers broke the window panes of the bus, when the driver questioned them behaviour. About six to seven of them bashed the driver and conductor."

The injured driver and conductor were rushed to nearby SRS hospital.
They were discharged after first aid.

Surprisingly, no case has been registered yet. Sources in the police department, said, "The matter was amicably settled between the two parties."
