Unattended bag causes panic in Greater Kailash

Delhi: Panic prevailed in the posh Greater Kailash area of south Delhi on Wednesday after an unattended bag was found lying near a guesthouse.

The police said the bag, containing a revolver and some live cartridges, was found lying unattended. "A passer-by spotted the bag near the guest house in the evening.

He called the police control room. We immediately rushed to the spot and area was cordoned off. The bag was searched a revolver and eight live cartridges were found in it," said a police official.

The bag reportedly belonged to one Pradeep of Muzaffarnagar and was allegedly stolen from the parking of a hotel in Nehru Place.
