Delhi: The recovery agents of private banks used to harass or beat the defaulters, but this time they went little too far.

Neeraj Mishra, who used to verify documents of the loan seekers, was beaten up by his seniors.

He said, "They locked me for over 12 hours, snatched my mobile and also seized my bike because I have verified the two loan defaulters  documents."

 "I used to verify documents of loan seekers for Astute Group Pvt Ltd in South Extension Part-I.

Two persons sought loan few months ago. I verified identification cards for loan of Rs 50 thousand each.

As both are defaulter, my seniors thrashed me saying they passed the loan on my recommendation," Mishra sated in a complaint with Kotla Mubarakpur police station.

He also said that his seniors have asked him to pay the amount.
