It was only a matter of time before the smooth talking Lewis Hamilton took a dig at rivals, Ferrari.

While doing commentary on a race organised for the sponsor's contest winners, Hamilton compared the race leader's dominance to that of McLaren Mercedes.
"The winner today lapped up the others just like McLaren laps up Ferraris," he said much to the cheers of the audience.

Driver's on time

Given that heavy showers had messed up the already-congested roads, it was obvious that Lewis Hamilton would keep his 200-odd fans and the media waiting.

But, to everyone's surprise, that was not the case. Hamilton arrived at 1:25 pm for the event which was supposed to kick off at 1:15.

One cheeky scribe quipped: "He knows how important it is to be on time. After all he's a driver."

Chairs, please!

Mediamen are known to go bonkers at the sight of a superstar. So, when the moment Lewis Hamilton arrived, there were shoves and pushes in an attempt to get to him.

However, the sad part of the event was the haphazardly-organised press conference.

While Hamilton sat on a chair on the podium, the media had to stand near the foot of the stage jostling for space and shoulder-pushing each other.

It sure was a torture with many emerging from the crowd as though they had just completed military training.
