New Delhi:

The special CBI court on Thursday reserved its judgement on the bail plea of Dr Rajesh Talwar, prime accused in the murder of his daughter Arushi and domestic help Hemraj.

The court denied the bail, saying the nature of the offence in the case is 'very heinous'.

Talwar's bail application had come up for hearing in Ghaziabad on Thursday. Rajesh Talwar, the father of murdered teenager Arushi, has been in jail for over a month now.

On Wednesday, Rajesh Talwar's wife Nupur Talwar, and his brother, Dinesh Talwar were summoned to the CBI headquarters for a second lie-detector test.

The Talwars have all along maintained that he is innocent and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) admits that so far, it has no real evidence against Rajesh.

Arushi's father was arrested on May 23 for allegedly murdering his 14-year-old daughter and his domestic help Hemraj.
