Int'l audit firm executive dies after cab rams into BEST bus

Two people died when a Meru cab rammed into a BEST bus (route no 315) at 6.30 am today at Mahim Causeway.

Dead on the spot

Sandra D'Souza (41), a team coordinator with McKinsey & Co, had hired the cab from her office in Nariman Point for domestic airport to catch a flight to Delhi. Her relatives were waiting for her at the airport. The cab driver Ram Shankar Pal (22) died on the spot.

They were taken to Bhabha Hospital, Bandra, where they were declared dead on admission.

The Mahim police have given a clean chit to the bus driver Subhash Shinde. According to the driver, he wasn't even aware what had hit the bus.
