Mumbai: Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, who was on his way to inaugurate a building, stopped mid-way and interacted with farmers, explaining them the Centre's loan waiver scheme.

Pawar halted near Chitegaon-Phata, about 20 km from Nashik in North Maharashtra, and interacted with around 200 farmers who had gathered there from the nearby areas.

He was on his way to inaugurate the new building of National Horticulture Research and Development Foundation (NHRDF).
