Animals dragged Fossett's body away
By: Agencies

Sierra Nevada (USA): Two large human bones have been found near the crash site of Steve Fossett's plane in Sierra Nevada, California, along with items belonging to the adventurer.

The bones were found about one km from of the crash site, according to John Anderson, the area's sheriff.

Searchers also found Fossett's tennis shoes, his Illinois driver's licence and credit cards. The shoes and licence had animal bite marks on them. "This reinforces our theory that animals dragged him away," said Anderson.
