Teenaged sisters killed for family honour

It could have been the perfect love story for teenaged sisters Pinky and Sonam from Greater Noida. They were in love and fled with their boyfriends but were killed for family honour.

The two cousins Pinky, 16, and Sonam, 15 had fled to Aligarh on Sunday. But when they called a friend, their family intercepted the call and tracked them down. Later, the Aligarh police detained them and their family was informed. The family brought them back and killed them. Five persons, including the fathers of both the girls, have been detained.
