New Zealand's Ross Taylor was 40 not out against Australia at lunch break on Day 2 of the first Test at the Gabba today morning. | Australia took four wickets in the first session of play to keep New Zealand restricted to 108 for 4 on Day Two of the first Test at the Gabba today morning.
New Zealand's top order struggled as all four of Australia's pacers struck to claim a wicket each.
But Ross Taylor stuck it out and posted an entertaining 40 not out with able support from Daniel Flynn (6 not out) at the time of lunch break.
New Zealand added 4 for 101 in an eventful session that featured good bowling from Australia and a couple of poor shots from the batsmen.
Yesterday, New Zealand's Tim Southee (four for 63) produced a super spell of swing bowling to restrict Australia to 214.
