Producer Kamaal R Khan is all set to file a petition in the HC against the ban imposed on his film Deshdrohi. The state government had banned the screening of the film for two months on the contention that the film would create a law and order problems.

The ban was to end yesterday, but the state has extended the ban on the film.

Khan said, "I am willing to give an undertaking to withdraw the film, if there is any law and order issue."

Khan had held a special screening of the film for the special branch of Mumbai police on November 8. They had suggested deleting three scenes from the film, to which Khan agreed.

But, according to the state government, even if certain scenes are deleted, the film's central idea will not change.
