Bollywood actor Hema Malini started campaigning for BJP candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Rajasthan.
She began her campaign from Bharatpur district followed by Alwar, Dausa and Jaipur, BJP's election programme committee Onkar Singh Lakhawat said.
Malini attended a public meeting in Malvia Nagar constituency and praised Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for the developmental works in the city.
Addressing the gathering, the actor said it seems that the pink city is in competition with Mumbai in terms of development.
Meanwhile, two persons, Ramavtar Meena and Manoj, were arrested for allegedly interrupting her campaign.
Malini would address public meetings in constituencies of Jalore, Pali and Jodhpur districts also.
