You would never guess that Karambir Kang, GM, Taj Mahal Palace & Tower has just lost his wife Neetu and sons, Uday (14) and Samar (5).
He was at St George Hospital at 12 am yesterday, looking for his family with the help of corporator Vinod Shekhar and MLA Annie Shekhar.
When there was no news, he left abruptly and went back to the Taj.
Later in the day, he was told of his bereavement his family had been killed when the terrorists stormed their official residence room 641.
It's also possible they died when the gunmen set the sixth floor on fire.
Socialite Queenie Dhody's son and Samar were classmates. "My child is terrorised by this news and has been clinging on to me ever since he heard Samar had been killed."
