The final assault against militants holed up at the Taj, Trident and Nariman House has entered its 40th hour, Friday morning, with commandos now air dropped.
Mumbai Police Commissioner, Hasan Gaffor said, "The operations are on at all the three places and will take few  more hours to complete the operations." He also told that they were near to get hold of the terrorists.
These are the final hours of the attack and the army is inside all the three places and the operation is carried on in a speedy way since morning.
Currently one terrorist is hold up at Taj, couple of terrorists at Trident hotel and few more inside the Nariman house. The operation were carried on fast till 2 am in the night, but slowed down later. But they have again started in full force since morning 6.
The army has got inside the hotels and the Nariman house to kill the terrorists and rescue the remaining hostages. Commandos in chopper have landed at Nariman house and attacked the terrorists.
Hostages
At present, there are hostages at Trident hotel and also chances of few hostages inside the Taj hotel. There are no more hostages at Nariman house after 17 people were rescued in total till late night, including foreigners.
Large numbers of hostages was rescued from Taj and Trident hotel. But there are hostages still stuck inside the hotels.
Death and injured
In total there were more than 125 people dead and more than 325 injured in the terror attack. However there are chances of more people dead inside the hotels, but the totall figures will be known once the terrorist are gunned down or arrested.
Earlier on Wednesday night different groups of terrorist attacked CST station, Leo pole, randomly fired near Metro, attacked Taj, Trident and Nariman house and got inside. They also carried blast in a taxi at Ville Parle.
