new delhi: Eight school students were critically injured when an RTV carrying around 22 children turned turtle at New Kondli area of East Delhi early on Monday morning.

Allegedly, the brakes of the RTV failed due to which the vehicle rammed into the road divider and overturned. The students were taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri hospital.

All the injured students are from the Kalyan Public School and are between three and 14 years old. The driver and the conductor of the bus fled the spot.
