MOHALI: India rushed towards a win over Australia in the second Test after Zaheer Khan picked up three wickets in four balls today.

Australia resumed their innings at 141 for 5 needing 515 to win. And they received a huge setback in the first over when Zaheer Khan rattled Brad Haddin's stumps with one that came in off a good length.

At the other end, Ishant also got Michael Clarke to edge one but the ball did not carry to Rahul Dravid at first slip.

In his second over, Zaheer went one better getting rid of Cameron White (1) and Brett Lee of successive deliveries. He had White edging to skipper MS Dhoni with a ball that pitched around the off stump and moved away.

Lee's off stump was castled with a similar ball that pitched around the leg and middle stump and moved away squaring Lee up.

Mitchell Johnson made sure Zaheer did not get the hat-trick but with eight wickets down and almost the whole day's play left, Clarke and the tail have a huge task ahead.
