Hair weaving, cosmetic surgeries to hide sagging cheeks and double chin. For once, it isn't our Bollywood stars who are going under the knife to retain their youthful looks.

Dawood Ibrahim, India's most-wanted terrorist, is in the process of undergoing a makeover to look more attractive. Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria confirmed that Dawood has weaved his hair in recent weeks. But he was not very sure about the cosmetic surgeries. "We are trying to ascertain his new identity. Our sources are trying to get his latest photographs," added Maria.

Insiders informed that Dawood has undergone a minor surgery around his nose too, as he wants it to look sharper.

D-aides secretly call him 'Bulldog'

Dawood is said to look every one of his 55 years. Some members within his gang were even secretly calling him 'Bulldog' because of the huge deposits of fat around his cheeks and neck. Sources told MiD DAY that a hair-weaving specialist from London was flown in to Karachi especially for Dawood.

 NEW APPEARANCE? Dawood Ibrahim

But why?

According to insiders, the reason why Dawood is going under the knife is that for years he has hosted Bollywood actors and actresses and does not want to lose his charm. He still plays host to a large number of celebrities, who visit him secretly at his 'White House' bungalow. The other theory doing the rounds in underworld circles is that Dawood is planning to escape from Pakistan and seek sanctuary in another friendly country.

The new appearance could help him hide for a while. Senior Crime Branch officials say that Dawood and his associates are feeling insecure after the change of government in Pakistan and the gangster is not sure if the ISI would be able to protect him for long.

Dawood has also incurred the wrath of some of his own lieutenants due to the undue interference in their affairs by his siblings Anees and Noora.
