Valencia set their sights on a top-four Spanish League finish, and a Champions League spot yesterday after brushing aside struggling Getafe 4-1. They are now just two points off 4th placed Villarreal thanks to two penalties by David Villa in either half and strikes from Juan Mata and Raul Albiol.
Meanwhile, Barcelona and Real madrid ensured the La Liga title was still up for grabs. On Saturday, Barcelona beat Valladolid 1-0 thanks to a strike from Eto'o, while Real Madrid beat Malaga 1-0 with a strike from Juande Ramos.
