Koena Mitra, who returned from Nairobi in Africa at 2 am last week, talks about her shocking experience at the airport. "After my staff and I landed we were asked to go to a counter where a few masked airport officials were sitting. Before that, we were asked to fill a form with 20 questions pertaining to our health. I was shocked when at the counter they accepted the form and stamped it without conducting any medical tests on me or even asking me any questions. Forget asking me about swine flu, what if I had lied while replying to the questions?"
State Health Minister Rajendra Shingne said an inquiry would be instituted into the incident. |
