Machine that purifies air available in India
NASA claims to have developed a product called AiroCide that conditions the environment to its purest form, killing the deadly H1N1 virus present in the air and preventing it from spreading. Great White Technologies, an Indian based company, assembles the products.
What it does
It uses a process called enconditioning that annihilates almost every known virus, micro organism or pathogen, which includes swine flu virus also. Great White Technologies sells it in India. They have already installed a thousand units in two months across the country at airports like Mumbai's international one and a few hospitals. The machine looks like an air ventilator.
Effectiveness
AiroCide conditions the environment to its purest form, eliminating 99.9998% of air-borne microorganisms, bacteria, and pollutants. AiroCide is the only effective indoor environment manager that kills the H1N1 bacteria the root of swine flu.
Cost
Between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 3 lakh. Effective only in indoor environment. |
