Team India's new blue shirts may not have gone down too well with those who don't really appreciate the 'darker' side of things, but it sure has got the nod from one of the country's most prominent designers.

"The darker hue reflects a fresh new high-spirited beginning, something this young Indian team stands for," the star stylist told MiD DAY.
The clever mix of colours to rein in the Indian flag too is intelligently done, says the fashion designer, who has draped many a Bollywood beauty.
"The design very cleverly infuses the three colours (orange, green, blue) of the Indian flag, which is a very interesting concept," added the stylist. |
