A constable attached with the VVIP security allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service revolver at his house in Magadi Road police quarters here, yesterday night.
S Anandan (47) was working as a gunman to former union minister C K Jaffer Sharief for the last five years. His wife Seethalakshmi and son Vignesh had been to their relative's house in Vijayanagar, when Anandan shot himself in the right temple.
Police have found a suicide note which stated that he took the extreme step due to financial reason. |
