A resident of Peddar Road, filed a criminal complaint against her husband for allegedly having sex with a male friend. The complaint registered against both, was filed under section 377 for unnatural sexual activities.
The accused approached sessions court for anticipatory bail application.The court has granted bail to the husband's friend on the condition that he visits the police station whenever he is summoned. However, the court has adjourned the husband's application till Saturday.
According to the police, Renuka (37)and Ronak Sharma (39), a businessman (names changed to protect the identities) got married in 1994. However, their relationship gradually got bad and now the wife has filed a police complaint against her husband for having unnatural sexual relationship with his friend Alex D'souza (28) (name changed), a merchant navy officer.
"It is a dispute between a husband and his wife, Alex has been unnecessarily dragged into this issue. The investigation is going on and the wife claims that she has video clips to prove the allegation," said Alex's lawyer.
