ADVANTAGES
CBD Belapur is well connected by the Sion Panvel Highway as well as the Palm Beach Road.  One can travel from CBD Belapur to CST as well as the western suburbs. The Thane- Belapur road has also boosted its connectivity.

CBD Belapur has a number of schools, colleges, hospitals and retail outlets to meet the day-to-day needs of the residents. Every sector has a park or a playground for children.

The area adjacent to the station is well developed commercially. IDBI, Sakal Bhavan, Unilever, Shriram Group has established their offices out here.

CBD Belapur is a quiet and peaceful locality. It has a lot of greenery as compared to Vashi or Nerul.

Residents can hang out at the restaurants and pubs that have recently come up in the area. Cafe Coffee Day, Dominos, and Pizza Hut have also opened outlets in Belapur. One can easily travel from Belapur to Kharghar's Little World Mall, which has a four screen multiplex.

DISADVANTAGES
The area experiences daily power cuts of three-four hours. There is no respite from this even in the summer months.

CBD Belapur doesn't have 24-hrs water supply. Residents get water from 5 am to 9 am and 8 pm to 9 pm.

Residents in CBD Belapur, especially in the CIDCO residential area don't have adequate parking space in the complexes. Since there are no parking zones, people park their cars in the narrow lanes thereby congesting them.

The public sanitation facilities are poor. You can see garbage piled on the roadsides or near the playgrounds as the garbage trucks don't ply regularly.
