Say the four men arrested for raping a computer teacher
The four men arrested for raping a computer teacher at Sultanpuri in west Delhi on Monday evening, have confessed to the police they were drunk when they had assaulted the 20-year-old victim and her friend.
During interrogations, the four, who were arrested on Wednesday, said two of the main accused Harish, 22, and Dilip, 23 had consumed alcohol on Monday evening. The other two are 20-year-olds Rama and Niranjan. Rama and Harish are brothers.

According to Sharad Agarwal, deputy commissioner of police (West), the arrests were made after the four assailants were described in detail by the victim's friend Satya Prakash.
"Keeping in view the sensitive nature of the case, police teams made local enquiry about the dubious characters of the area. Satya Prakash was also interrogated. During the investigation, information was received that two persons who matched the description provided by Satya Prakash had been spotted in the HGI Labour Colony.
Cops laid a trap and apprehended Niranjan and Dilip. They led us to Rama and Harish," said Aggarwal.
The police said the men were returning after a drinking binge when they saw the victim and her friend walking on the deserted stretch. Taking advantage of the gathering darkness, two of them beat up Satya Prakash and dragged the victim to the nearby railway tracks at Bhalla factory in Sultanpuri and raped her.

Harish is married with a six-month-old child. Niranjan works as a welder at Kamruddin Nagar. His father is employed at an MCD dispensary. Dilip, whose father is employed with the PWD, works in a factory. Rama is an electrician in a private company. |
