A Congress worker in Mumbai, sustained 81 per cent burn injuries due to a freak accident.
According to police, Bala Valur (40) suffered burns when his mobile phone exploded near him.
He was admitted at Masina hospital, Byculla, in a critical condition.
According to doctors, chances of victim's survival is slim.
However, sources say the Congress worker, who hails from Kankovli, tried to commit suicide after he was beaten up by senior Congress leader Narayan Rane's men.
Rane who visited the hospital on Monday morning rubbished the report stating that the he had spoken to the victim who told him it was an accident. |
