Has been spending time in Latur campaigning for Cong candidate Amit Deshmukh
Riteish Deshmukh is taking a week off next month to campaign for his brother Amit in Latur. Amit filed his nomination papers for the Congress yesterday.
Says Riteish, "Yes, Amit filed his nomination in Latur yesterday and I was with him.
I am really excited and happy that he's contesting this time. It's his debut and Amit has really worked hard for this over the last 12 years.
He is a great candidate young, dynamic and the people love him. I, for one, will certainly vote for him."

Riteish will spend today with Amit. "I inaugurated the T-10 gully cricket in Latur and came back in the evening.
I will go to Latur again for a day and then return for promotions." Riteish is the brand ambassador of T-10 gully cricket.
Next week, Riteish is on a heavy-duty promotional tour for Aladin and Do Knot Disturb after which he leaves for Latur again on October 5.
Informs Riteish, "I told all my producers to complete my pending assignments much earlier so that I could be with Amit. You need to give priority to your family."
Riteish adds that as a child, he had accompanied his dad for campaigns and even campaigned for him during the 2004 elections.
Now that he's a big star will his campaigning make a difference in Latur? Ritiesh laughs and says, "There are bigger stars in Latur like my dad and Amit."
Who's Amit?
A chemical engineer, Amit is the vice president of the Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress and is married to Aditi Ghorpade.
