India knocked out of U-19 World Cup

India today lost to Pakistan in the quarterfinals of the ICC Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand.  Pakistan's two wicket victory knocked out defending champions India from the tournament.

Pakistan won the toss and put India to bat after rain reduced the match to a 23-over contest. India could manage 114-9 in 23 overs, Mandeep Singh top scored with 40.

In reply, Pakistan reached the target in 22.3 overs with the loss of 8 wickets.
