A woman officer of the Indian Air Force (IAF) committed suicide at her home in Jodhpur today, police said.
Squadron leader Anandita Das (29) from West Bengal was found hanging by the ceiling early today. Das was commissioned as an officer in 2006. Her husband is also an air force officer and posted in Jodhpur.

The couple got married in 2008.
"Her body has been sent for post mortem. The air force has assured us full cooperation in the investigations," said a police official.
"The air force has ordered a enquiry into the incident," defence ministry spokesperson SD Goswami said.
