A 31-year old woman, who was dropping her son to school in an autorickshaw, was shot dead in Delhi today.

A 31-year-old woman was shot dead today by two men on a motorcycle while she was going to drop her child to school in a rickshaw, police said.

Meenakshi, a resident of Bawana, was murdered around 8.45 am in west Delhi's Rohini area.
"Two men on a bike shot four bullets at her. The woman died on the spot," a police official said.
Investigators said they recovered one live cartridge and two used ones from the crime scene.
Meenakshi had married businessman Parvinder Rana six years ago.
Rana was earlier married to another woman but got separated before marrying Meenakshi.
Police is investigating allegations that a relative of Rana's first wife had threatened Meenakshi some time back.
