Engg student hangs himself
Akshay Jitendra Jadhavrao (19), a second year mechanical engineering student, ended life by hanging himself from the ceiling of his hostel room on Wednesday afternoon.

Jadhavrao hailed from Wai tehsil in Satara district and was a student of Dhole Patil College of Engineering on Pune-Ahmednagar Highway.
“On Wednesday afternoon, he had told his friends that his stomach was upset and would like to rest for a while and locked the door from inside around 1 pm. After waiting for over two hours, one of his friends decided to check on him and discovered Akshay hanging from the ceiling. He immediately informed us,” Investigation Officer R J Patil Patil said.
They found a suicide note in which Akhsay had stated that he loved his family a lot. “I am fed up with my life and have decided to end it. Mother, please look after grandfather. I will be reborn as your son,” the suicide note read.
