Son of slain ABS leader hacked to death
Raj Waghmare (18), son of slain Akhil Bharatiya Sena (ABS) District President Shekhar Waghware, was hacked to death by four persons on Wednesday night.

Waghmare’s body was recovered from near Indrayani River in Vishrantwadi. Police officials suspect the crime was an outcome of an old enmity between the two.The arrested suspects were identified as Avinash Dhalwe Mayur Madke, Prashant Lokare and Pramod Gadade.
“They accosted Raj near the river on Wednesday night and attacked him with sharp weapons. They even smashed his head with stones,” a police official said.
Raj’s father Shekhar, a close aide of Arun Gawali, was shot dead by unidentified persons in his car near Sakhar Sankool in June 2010.
